Smoked Tofu!

For those of you who dislike tofu either because you feel it lacks flavour or find it spongy, I have great news for you. Dhaval from Aurosoya ( a vegan chain) will make sure you never hate tofu, ever! Aurosoya's smoked tofu is one of their most popular products. The tofu is soft and so delicious. The smoky flavour is mind blowing. It is organic, high in protein and has zero cholesterol. It is ready to eat and can be added in any dish just like that. Trust me, you'll fall in love with this tofu immediately. I've not had better!

I have made Almond crusted baked tofu nuggets.

They are super simple and healthy.

All you need is:

2 tbsp Olive oil

1 tbsp Soy sauce

1 garlic minced

Half cup almonds

Half cup all purpose flour

1 egg

salt,pepper and paprika to taste

For the dip:

3 tbsp mustard

2 tbsp honey

1/2 cup mayonnaise

Instructions

Cut the tofu into blocks.

Combine the olive oil, soy sauce and minced garlic. Pour over the tofu , cover and let is marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes (the longer the better)

In a food processor blend the almonds, salt, pepper and paprika.

Place the flour in a bowl, whisked egg in another and the almond mixture in the last.

Coat each tofu with flour, then egg and then the almond mix.

Bake the tofu nuggets at 400 degrees F ( 204 C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and toasted.

While the nuggets cook you can make your dip.

Serve nuggets warm with dipping sauce!
