Avocado Chocolate mousse!

This gorgeous Chocolate Avocado Mousse is intensely chocolaty yet surprisingly light. It is a combination of healthy and delicious ingredients that come together to create a dense, rich, and silky smooth pudding. Avocado, which might seem like a strange dessert ingredient, makes the mousse smooth, thick, and decadent. They also offer healthy fats, fiber, and a host of vitamins too. This meets both your dietary needs and yen for something sweet and chocolaty. The best thing about this recipe is that it’s so simple and requires only 3 ingredients.

All you need is:

200 gm of dark chocolate ( 70% or above)

1 ripe Avocado

50 ml Almond milk

  1. Melt chocolate in a double boiler or in a glass bowl set above a pot of simmering water (make sure the water does not touch the bottom of the bowl or else it will risk the chocolate burning or becoming grainy).

  2. Place avocado and melted chocolate in a food processor and blend together until smooth, whilst pouring in the milk. Keep blending until the mousse is very smooth and creamy. Taste, and if you would like it a little sweeter, you can add a bit of honey or maple syrup, however I think it’s sweet enough as is! Spoon into serving glasses and chill in fridge briefly for 10-15 minutes. Garnish with fresh berries and extra chocolate if desired.

  3. You could garnish it with anything – fruit, grated chocolate, nuts or shredded coconut for example.
